Examination of Witnesses: Theory and Practice – Rome – 17th May 2018

IAA comes to Rome on the 17th May to evaluate and demonstrate the techniques of cross-examination, direct and re-direct examination. Our 1-day course in partnership with the Milan Chamber of Arbitration (CAM) and the Association for International Arbitration (AIA) will provide trainees with a thorough understanding of common law dispute resolution systems and the rules underpinning the examination of witnesses.

With the opportunity to practice asking questions in mock direct and cross-examinations, this course is designed to improve practitioners’ examinations of witnesses in tribunals. Our team of experienced trainers, including Paul Stanley QC and Robert-Jan Temmink QC, will lead the group with guidance about how to ask the most effective questions of witnesses and the best way to prepare for direct and cross-examination.
