Colin Edelman QC was called to the Bar in 1977 and took silk in 1995. He specialises in high value complex commercial disputes with an emphasis on insurance and has been voted ‘Insurance Silk of the Year’ by Chambers UK, who described him as “a fantastic advocate with a great air of authority.”
Colin is highly regarded for his work in international disputes, as both counsel and arbitrator, and regularly acts as sole arbitrator under the rules of leading institutions. He has handled hearings in Bermuda, the Far East, Africa and the USA. He has also been involved with Advocacy Training programmes at Middle Temple, training students, pupils, new practitioners and new trainers during residential and non-residential weekend programmes and evening workshops.
